Meet Becky & Shanna

Sandwiched between the first positive test and the first years of school, layettes and lunchboxes, bassinets and busses you’ll find Peanut Butter & Jelly...upscale but not exclusive, in fashion but not trendy, comfortable but not common.

We started working at Peanut Butter & Jelly on the same day with the same dream: to someday make it our own. We’re two very different people with very different styles--one of us easygoing and a little zesty, always a steadfast staple; the other smooth and sweet, but colorful and never dull.

We go together like, well, you know...

Becky Seegers

Family: Husband, Joe; basset hound/lab mix, Otis.

Background: Interior design. And couldn’t be happier that her love of design, passion for fashion, and a life-long dream of owning a boutique have merged so completely in Peanut Butter & Jelly.

Musical quirk: Only hums along to songs, never sings aloud. No -- not even to Bon Jovi.

Obsession: Sweets. Has been known to wrestle husband over a red velvet cupcake.

Family plans: Twins -- a boy and a girl. With the understanding that she’s knocked out cold at the start of labor only to be revived after the babies are washed, clothed, and extremely cuddly-looking.  (That’s how it works, right?)

Baby for now: Otis. Her furry baby who insist on wedging himself between her and Joe when they try to kiss.

Best thing about PB&J: It’s an honor to “walk through the stages of motherhood” with them, knowing that helping a future mom find the right outfit often results in meeting her beautiful baby at the end of the journey.

Shanna Blue

Family: Husband, Travis; daughter, Reece; son, Mason.

Background: Real Estate. Traded in a career to work at Peanut Butter & Jelly in the hopes of someday owning the store.

Favorite word: “Love.” Actually says it hundreds of times every day about everything -- family, friends, her job, sweets, even minivans (the coolest cars on the road).

Dream meal: Cheese pizza followed by chocolate cake. Preferably eaten at midnight. (Will not share the cake, so don’t ask.)

New pastime passion: Ghost crab hunting.

Boutique beliefs: Values clients and their happiness above all else. Would rather talk a client out of something that doesn’t suit their needs or style than try to make a sale.
